LaDow Court Assisted Living exists under the Whitman County Public Hospital District #2.  We are a Publicly owned Hospital District who oversees LaDow Court Assisted Living.  Whitman County Public Hospital District #2 came into existence 11/04/1980 by the vote of the people.  Originally the PHD#2 was formed to create an EMS service for the residents of Whitman County Public Hospital District which includes the Towns of Garfield and Farmington.  This created the Garfield-Farmington EMS service to provide EMS service for our rural area.  R. King Rockhill was instrumental in forming Whitman County Public Hospital District #2 and sat as the Chairman for the board.  King RockHill was not done with the newly formed PHD#2, he set his sights on organizing and going back to the voters to pass a bond to build LaDow Court Assisted Living.  The voters again approved the bond which was paid off in 2023.  R. King Rockhill would retire in 2004 and move on to Harvard Idaho.

LaDow Court is not a private corporation, nor are we a publicly traded company driven by investors.  This gives us the ability to focus on your family and providing for the needs of a loved one.
